No cast, room temperature butter, sleeping in the castle, and more!

Cramming a lot in here at once.  That means the next post will have an actual theme. :)  Charlie got his cast off!!  It was only on for 7 weeks.  Here he is afterwards with all of his "free" animals from the various appointments.  My grandpa used to say - "if you're paying for the room, then it's not a free breakfast.  I paid for it!"  This works for stuffed animals and insurance deductibles as well.  :)

 

Anyway, he is glad to have it off and we are thankful to not have to wrap it up for showers and swimming anymore!

 

Ashley did another pottery class and made me this butter dish!  I have been waiting 40 years to have room temperature butter!!!  I LOVE it!

Jonathan's castle (as we are now calling it as "cage" sounded too confining) is proving to be a great environment for sleeping.  Here are a couple picutres of Jonathan sleeping - rather than cleaning, as it appears he is slacking on. 

 

And even Charlie couldn't resist trying it out. This would be a great commercial for comfy hardwood floors.

 

This is a random funny one.  When I got Jonny up from his nap he had crazy hair, so Ashley was trying to get a picture of it and this one just happened.  Not quite sure what's going on, but the combination of it all is very bizarre.  And a little creepy.

Another display of the luring of the castle.  I promise there were no bribes involved here.  If only I'd thought of the cage, I mean castle earlier.  This sure makes keeping the rest of the house clean easier!

Jonathan has this odd habit of opening his mouth as wide as he can whenever he claps.  Here is a funny video I got of him doing it.  Very random.
