The sweater lives on

Thanks, Alli and Ian.  Jonny loves his "new" sweater. :)

Comparing the two (at the same age), I'm thinking defensive back and QB (with a very strong offensive line).

October 2013 pics

Here are some random pictures from October.  This one is from a Sunday morning where Andy and Jonathan happened to be dressed matching.  I love the sweater vests!!

 

Ashley taught Jonny how to escape from his cage.  It was cute until we realized it was no longer a "safe place".  Well, this time worked to our advantage.  In his attempted escape, he got stuck under the couch.  He was there for an undisclosed amount of time.  He has not attempted an escape since!

 

Here is a cute picture from a sibling sleepover.  Jonathan does not last very long.  I am thinking his love language will be personal space.

 

 

This is a common theme on school mornings - Ashley and Abby love to dress matching, even down to the accessories.

They could do this because a) they love each other so much and treasure every moment they have together and just want to feel as close and as bonded as they can - apparel and all.  Or b) they want to take as much time as possible getting ready in the morning so as to delay getting to the school table and driving me crazy in the meantime.  I will not deliver a vote at this time.

 

Jonny was not spared being dressed up just like Charlie was.  I don't feel so bad for Jonathan though.  He will be too tough for anyone to tease him about it later.

Charlie is into Ninja Turtles now thanks to a birthday party he went to.  Here is what he looks like most of the day.  This was when cousin Murray was visiting from Bend.

 

And we are almost to the "does Jonny need a haircut" post like we had with Charlie.  I am holding my ground and resisting as long as possible this time.

 

I'll leave you with this video of Charlie.  This is pure randomness.  It was 2 days before Halloween, apparently the sugar high was so anticipated it had already hit.  It started (like 10 minutes before I started recording) as a discussion with Charlie to convince him that Halloween was not the next day, but 2 days away. Then, possibly when he realized that Andy was right, he started teasing him by saying, "oh, poor baby, you want a sugar monster."  Again, randomness.  Then, explaining how to get that sugar monster, "you have to be mean."  Argh Captain.
