Recently I have been offering bribes to Charlie for doing things on his own. Most almost 3 year olds want to do everything themselves, Charlie has the opposite problem. Granted, maybe I had something to do with that, but after all, he was just a baby. :) The most recent accomplishment was getting Charlie to just go potty when he had to and not need me to go with him and wait in the bathroom the entire time. Once he did this a few times on his own, he started loving this new freedom. He is so proud of himself each time, and runs out to tell us. This is him a few days ago washing his hands after going potty:
If you look close, you will notice that his pants are on backwards. Another thing that the picture won't tell is that, yes, his underwear is on backwards as well. This does not seem to bother him. I know I have said before that Charlie is so much like Ashley, but, I'm sorry, this is Abby all the way. We kept asking him if his pants felt weird, to which he answered "no". We finally told him his pants were on backwards and he kept insisting, "no, this right way." Awesome. Backwards pants and flip-flops with socks. If you can't keep up with the trends, set your own.
