Trip to see Mom

A very special friend who works for a very special airline was kind enough to help me go see my mom for the weekend.  It was so amazing being there.  Last time I went was right after her biopsy before she was officially diagnosed, so up until now it's just been updates via phone.  It was so different being there in person, getting to see her, her daily schedule (although I did catch her on a "good" week) and where she goes for her blood draws, chemo stays, and eventually her bone marrow transplant.  It was amazing to be there to help out in different ways that aren't possible from so far away.  :(  Somehow they convinced me that painting the guest bedroom would most help her feel better.  :)  It was so great being there and so hard to leave, but hopefully it won't be long until the next trip.  Here is one of the two pictures she let me take.  The other is without her hat.  I'm still working on her to let me post that one.  :)
