Charlie's (not) walking

So, as we near Charlie's 18th month mark, I'm more easily persuaded to help him along with his walking skills. I broke out the car/walker toy that Ashley got for her 1st birthday that she used to push around and walk behind. First off, he didn't like this idea because the handle was wet and he was getting his hands dirty. Problem #1. (remind you of Ashley?) Next, the girls kept making him sit on it and pulling him around the house on it. Fun, but not helpful for the walking skills.

Anyway, I can say I tried. On the other hand, he is starting to talk more. He now says "uh-oh, dirty" (appropriate) and "up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up". Usually while I'm making dinner. He also says Abby's name very clearly and next will probably be "Abby stop hugging me so tightly". We're working on that. Stay tuned!

Oh he looks so much like Ash in this pic too!! I guess he'll walk when he's ready (or when Abby gets too rough). ;)
